The installation

The new hunter and lass were installed into there offices tonight. After pledging there selves to a year of representing there home town at all the common ridings, they did a dance called the hunters reel in the main street with all the previous hunters and there lassies. Then it was time to mount there horses and parade down the street then they do a charge back up the street to finish that is when I got this shot.

It was so good to see all the people out tonight in the sunshine supporting the festival a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make it such a success gives you a good feeling of community spirit

Had a couple of beers in the crown before I headed home and the atmosphere was brill. The pipe band were playing in the street something about that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, just a great night:)
