The anchor.

This was taken at the harbour in Kirkcudbright and I always amazed by the amount of stuff you see on boats.  I assume the anchor is an essential piece of equipment but I wonder what the story is regarding the painted figure, maybe it's a mascot or something.  I am getting distracted by the news on TV and the need to start doing something about making something to eat, so I will sign off.
