The Maloja Serpent

The Maloja Serpent is a cloud phenomena the starts over Lago di Como, rises over the Maloja Pass and slithers along the valley. This is not a good place to view the serpent but you can see it low down underneath the Piz Badile, just right of centre in the photograpc.. It was recently featured in a locally filmed production, "The Clouds of Sils Maria" which won the Ballon D'ore at the Cannes Film Festival, and starred Juliette Binoche..
