Narita
We had eight hours in Narita on our way back to NZ so we made the most of it and went exploring around the local temple and surrounding township.
The whole place was delightful and swarming with Japanese tourists with us being the only Caucasian people we saw all day. Stopped for a bite to eat in a local restaurant as well where M has freshly filleted BBQ eel - a delicacy.
This gentleman was guarding the way to the main temple and he reminded us a little of Marvin the Martian. Lots of people around were treating him with upmost spiritual importance though so we tried not to giggle.
