The most beautiful, sunny, mild day today with the sound of skylarks. Only spoilt by constant loud booming sounds. Someone told me it was the bombing range in Otterburn. I can't believe the sound would carry that far!

Don't know what these birds are but it looks like a crocodile is lying in wait.
