Seed heads..

I went looking for signs of spring as many blippers in the Northern Hemisphere have been posting photos of wild flowers, buds and bulbs. I hadn´t noticed anything here to date. Waldviertel, the region in which I live, is way behind the rest of Austria regarding the seasons. I did see a lot of rhododendron buds though and teeny weeny swellings on some of the tree branches so it is definitely on its way. There were also lots of delicate grasses that had survived the winter. I suppose they are native to do so. These grass seed heads were swaying in the breeze and were my pick for today´s blip.
