Last year's school daffodil

Proudly grown by B at school last year and presented to me for Mothering Sunday. It was the first school plant ever to survive more than a couple of weeks, and frankly it was wonderful to open the back door this morning and see the cheery yellow beaming at me through the drizzle once again. Processed to mono with a blue filter effect.
