Arrived early to ballet school this afternoon and gained permission to go in to get my blip.

Nuggets from professional development today...

Stop giving affirmative responses to student remarks.

Start asking the class if they agree or disagree with the remarks instead (let math be the authority).

Keep asking students to re-voice remarks made by peers to hold them accountable for engaging in the discourse.

My 5th grade group made a huge breakthrough in problem-solving today...we celebrated!
