Dling ding ding

Day 2 of our 4 day kayak trip from Fort William to Imverness.
Today's leg was from Letterfindlay lodge to Fort Augustus. 14 miles.

A very long day today. 3 major portages, the prevailing wind decided to turn through 180 degrees and hit us head on and the waves on Loch Oich were quite a challenge.....

Even with a wind on the water it was still amazingly hot. The sun shone all day.

Arrived in Fort Augustus and booked into a hostel ratherr than camping as the thought of a hot shower and a comfortable bed was just too tempting.
