Don't understand why that fella keeps flying back

Title: Don't understand why that fella keeps flying back and forth for just one seed, he could sit here, eat his fill, then fly home - MEN!
The Male Redbellied Woodpecker only stays at the feeder long enough to get one Sunflower seed then flies off.  The Female Northern Cardinal spends ages eating her fill of seed, using the feeder to dine in the sunshine or shelter from a North wind.
