Uluru

We set off from our hotel this morning in Alice Springs to Uluru (better known to many people as and previously called Ayers Rock).

We were advised to go by coach because of the length of drive, the rough terrain and wandering cattle, kangaroos and other wild animals after dark on the road. We were glad we took that advice.

The trip took 19 hours from leaving to getting back to the hotel but it was so worth it.

A brilliant day.
