Amaryllis Double Dragon

As we left for six days in Scotland this plant was just starting to flower. I left it in the dark with little water in the hope that I might catch the last of the flowering. Success! When we returned 2 trumpets had fully opened and one was half open so at least I will still get to enjoy its full glory!

I have a different variety of amaryllis which is about ten days behind this one so you could be seeing quite a few shots over the next few weeks!
