Delayed poppies

As I walked back from town this morning I noticed that a new wreath of poppies had been placed at the memorial so I went over and knelt on one knee to take the picture. As I got up a passerby nodded and smiled sympathetically at me. I realised then that she thought I'd knelt down to pay my respects to the person on the wreath!
