Thian Hock Keng

If it's Monday it must be Chinatown.

I didn't leave myself enough time for afternoon tea at Raffles and a visit to Chinatown, so I chose the latter. Once of the places on my 'must visit' list was the Thian Hock Keng Temple. The temple itself is interesting enough and colourful, but what put it on my 'essential' list was the fact that the iron railings and gates to the temple were made in Glasgow and transported out to Singapore. A wee bit home from home!
