A swing through Mt. Auburn Cemetery on a frigid 14°F morning yielded a variety of reasonable potential Blips.  Something resonates about these lovely fresh, brightly-colored flowers juxtaposed against the drabness and grey of the day. Somebody remembered and came to visit a grave even in this cold.  How they found it in the piles of snow is a miracle...

I recently had my dad's 1957 lens cleaned and find the sharpness (yet neutrality and faithfulness of color) of the images it yields quite astounding.  Leitz made two versions of this lens: one slightly faster with an f=2.8 maximum aperture, the other, like my dad's, an f=3.5.  Of course the former is much more desirable to the cognoscenti but I wonder if it has such great performance wide open.
