Iron Maiden's front man, Bruce Dickinson, has been diagnosed with tongue cancer, and is undergoing treatment.

I cannot over emphasis Iron Maiden's influence on my musical tastes. They were probably the first heavy metal band I got into when I was in school. Somewhere in Time is my favourite album by them, and it was one of my greatest "music" regrets that I never seen them on that tour, as I got into them just a bit too late.

So tonight, Bruce, we raise a a couple of bottles of Trooper beer and toast your speedy recovery ...
