winter gardens

Ate my packed lunch in the cosy winter gardens at the peoples palace in Glasgow between meetings today.

A group of young school children were in and some of them had spread their jackets on the floor and shouted over to me that they were camping :)

There are two big hot metal pipes that run around the perimeter of the elegant glasshouse which are the source of the cosiness. I'd recommend sitting on the benches beside those pipes :)
