The 'Official' Start.....

----of the Calderdale Way.
The Calderdale Way is a 50 mile Long Distance Footpath in Calderdale, West Yorkshire.  Whilst it is a circular route, this is the 'official' start point at Clay House in West Vale - just outside Halifax. The route includes much exposed moorland as well as woodland paths, a short section of canal towpath and some road sections.  It is classified as 'challenging'.
