In vino veritas

Spent a delightful lunch break discussing wines (mostly Italian wines) with Claudio Meneses today.
He has sold his own wine shop in the George's Street arcade and is going to relocate to Newtownmountkennedy (bit of a mouthful that one, ok if it is a mouthful of Amarone Classico) in County Wicklow.
In the mean time, he is "baby-sitting" a fine range in Monkstown.
I was quite impressed by the quality bottles on the shelves.
And realised that I now enjoy talking about the wine almost as much as I enjoy drinking it.
