A Walk on the Beach

Even the rain couldn't keep us from the beach today. Late this afternoon we negotiated a short visit before the sun set. Though the skies opened up we weren't deterred and took the time to take in as much as we could.

Absent of color as we know it, this grey day at the beach was still full of the exciting shades of creation. The emotions I felt were just as vibrant as on any sun soaked day.

As always the beauty was there if the right eyes were gazing upon it ...and there lies the challenge. Everyday is just a little bit brighter if we can see it through grateful and joyful eyes.
