Glossy Ibis

This ruffled up Glossy Ibis was a surprise find at my nearest 'bird' Wadi. He or she was alone and routing through the deep marshes looking for food. I couldn't believe it when this very weird head popped up! Look closely and the beak/eye combination is incredibly odd, well I think so anyway!
This Ibis was moved out onto the margins of the lagoon by a huge Marsh Harrier, who I should have been able to track but couldn't! I hope there will be another opportunity to photograph him!
