One eyed sphynx moth

Well I ran across something that pushed me back to blip today. I've taken the past month and a bit off as my life became too crazy (with good things, lots of good things) that needed my attention and focus. Tonight I went to check on one of my newest plants, a dwarf lilac that is about a foot tall with 3 blooms. I had one of those WTF moments, worried about what thing was attacking it, before I ran in the house to grab B and tell him to come have a look! I saw one last week as I was leaving work, but they are a rare sight around here. This one is about 3 inches long, hanging and curing it's wings so it's ready to go out and mate and start the cycle over again. Too beautiful not to blip! I'm not guaranteeing I can keep up again, but will be spending the first weekend at my new recreational property this weekend, so should have plenty of opportunities.
