Hail Cloud from Rowan Tree

I took this from the path at the side of the A78, looking
across the Ardrossan North Shore to Ardneil Bay and Portencross. I
liked the way that the strong sunshine from the left picked out some
colourful detail in contrast to the dark sky.  You would normally be
able to see Wee Cumbrae and Bute in the background, but it's blocked
by a dense cloud of hailstones. I was walking in that direction, of
course
