New Life

I was coming home from work and noticed this lone cow out in the pasture.  As I slowed down, I also noticed the little black head and the buzzards, so I knew the cow had just given birth and the buzzards were waiting. So I pulled over.  I had just missed the actual birth by minutes.  In order not to gross anyone out I removed the afterbirth that she was expelling and what the buzzards are waiting on.  Nature and how it works always amazes me.  The new calf was moving around so I knew all would be well.
