how many eves of an eve can you actually have? this is 2 days out from the eve-nt. That seems reasonable.

shoes, thank you's, jewellery & a rather pretty dress all packed for the soirée that has been in pre-production for some time (actually for pretty much all of my blipping life I do believe)
