Acer Palmatum purpurea

Lovely afternoon gardening. Reasonably mild with the odd spell of weak sunshine. Lots of weeding and tidying. Two wheelbarrows full so a small bit of progress. Started to clear out the pots and dug out some tulips and a clematis which had to be repotted. I had a little wander and found lots of plants are springing into growth.
This Acer is thriving and the new growth glows when the sun lights it up.
