Gothic Spiral

Feeling 75% better today, and I went to work for the first time since Monday - except I spent all day in Manchester.

This was mid-day, climbing to the top floor of the town hall. I like this victorian building, although it could do with a bit of money spending on it to make it secure for the 21st century.

It's been headlining the news this week with the £6 billion NHS devolution package to GM, with Jon Snow standing outside it on Wednesday describing it as the GM Town Hall. Certainly climbing this spiral staircase regularly would be a help towards any fitness regime, and is my personal contribition today to health service integration in Greater Manchester.
