A and I headed over to Louise's today to spend the day there. The girls (and us) were a little frazzled because of the heat, and were bouncing off each other causing all sorts of mayhem. They screamed their way through lunch because they thought if was funny, and thankfully sweet little Maisy slept through it (!) A kept wanting to give her kisses all the time, and then sang her a song ''a soooooong for maaaaisssyyyy" (I do love her made up songs but they do not go hand in hand with sleeping newborns)

We left mid afternoon so that Rose could sleep and give her Mummy a break (I found out later it didn't happen, poor Louise) and we got the bus home again. Quite enjoy that we are becoming bus pros, perhaps we won't be so stuck here in future. The only downside is that the 2 journeys, about 10 mins each way, cost me £5!

A insisted that we read her huge nursery rhymes book as her bedtime book, so we sang our way through that together. Mummy accidently sat on one of the hanging down bits to the canopy and I pulled it right down on top of us! Daddy will need to make another hole in the ceiling to get it back up when he comes home TOMORROW! We are very much looking forward to having him back for a couple of days.
