Waiting

A nothing photo that reminded me of Candice as I sat in the airport at Sydney waiting for my plane to Tamworth.

During our drive, we got to talking about crepuscular rays. She had never heard of the term that I picked up on Blipfoto a while back, meaning the visible sun's rays shining through the clouds (for those who may not know either ;)

We had a laugh at the time because the words got stuck in her head.

Nearly home now after a memorable week. It's been so special to spend time with my daughter and I feel like I've got time to know her even better. She understands me so well and is probably the only person in the world who really gets me (maybe because we are so similar, although she may disagree ;)).

Back to the real world tomorrow, but with definite plans to return to Whitehaven beach sometime in the near future!
