Dressed for the weather

Today has probably been the hottest day of the year so far, so I donned a summer dress, flip-flops, sunglasses and a sun hat. I should have also slapped on some sunscreen but I didn't, in the vague hope I might actually tan - I should know by now it just doesn't happen!

My mum has gone up north with my grandparents for a couple of days and my sister was at work all day so I spent the lonely hours reading in the sun, lying in the hammock, gaining rather a lot of freckles, and getting a bit sunburnt.
