Highland Cow Hair

These tough skinned highland cows love to itch themselves on barbed wire fences. We are slowly replacing all the barbed with plain wire as the itching fairly trashes the fences!

Its a bit of a blah day today was feeling quite fed up with this and that. Until my friend phoned to tell me about how good Bran had been. She and Bran had both lost confidence and it had got to the stage that Bran wouldn't even leave her side to go and chase the sheep or when he did he was erratic and uncontrolled. She was thrilled that he was happy, confident and responsive while working some sheep today. It fair cheered me up to hear of their success! I get a bit apprehensive at times as I am in the process of heading towards a diversification project. That is that I am studying for a Diploma in Dog Behaviour Practitioning. Its taking a bit of time to get through as I am always so busy with shepherdess work. So far it has been fascinating but I am little apprehensive about actually becoming a practitioner. I suppose only time will tell. First I have to get through the course though!!
