another spider.......

Have had a very lazy day - I was tired so it was nice to take things easy.  I went to the market this morning and then visited a friend, came home and sat in the garden between the thunderstorms and read.  We have had a couple of quite dramatic electric storms and at lunchtime it was also very windy, so this poor spiders web was torn in two and he was clambering quickly to the top of it.

Had lots of birds in the garden today including a large grey heron perched on my roof as I was coming back from the market, but by the time I got my camera he had gone.  Also the mongoose was back today but again I was not near my camera at the time!
