Rain, Rain Go Away

Took Mum out for lunch to celebrate her non-birthday which is neither today nor tomorrow but which we will celebrate properly tomorrow. She always celebrates her birthday the day after the 28th so one year out of four it works out right!

We went to our new favourite place to eat in Perth and our table was in the wee conservatory in the back so we could hear the rain rattling off the roof. This is the view out towards Skinnergate. We think the wooden archway is fairly old just by looking at the Fire Exit sign painted on the wood. We've looked on some old maps and there certainly seems to have been a courtyard here since at least the mid 1800s so the stonework has been there for a while.
