TREE POSING AS AN ANGEL
A delightful day, weatherwise and otherwise.
In the morning, there was temporarily mist, but soon enough it lifted and the rest of the day it was a stunning Sunny day.
Piet Hein and I worked in the garden till lunch. Monday we will start with digging up roots, a heavy task we think. But that is still in the future.
After lunch, we walked, no not a mystery tour today, but an adventurous tour. Not a walk we did not before, but everytime we look with different eyes and the surroundings differ a lot most of the time too.
We walked to the Forellenhof through the forest, from there we followed a road to Louenförde, and the adventure is that at some point we follow a path that goes through a valley, dreamlike it is.
Because there has been once a beautiful garden, with a stream, and it still has the strangeness of a secret garden. It is not an official path that we follow, and that is the adventure of course.
Our idea had been to take the train from Lauenförde to Karlshafen, but on saturday there is a schedule of one train in two hours.
From our high point we saw the nearly four o'clock train, that certainly would mean that the next one would travel at six o'clock.
We did not mind much, with this weather one could think that a trip better do not end at all.
At the Rewe in Lauenförde we could drink a cup of tea before our train arrived. Happy to be home again. Tired? Yes, feels good, sometimes.
My haiku:
If the tree can fly
I would too when I put white
Clouds on my shoulders
And the proverb:
On the side of the angels.
1864 in Disraeli, Sp. on 25 Nov. : Is man an ape or an angel?
Now I am on the side of the angels.
