Fern

...is J and D's new cat, who I met for the first time today. Very unusually for a ginger cat,  Fern is a she. She has had a bit of a chequered past, but hopefully she will now gain confidence through stability and affection.

We were down at J's for another of our celebrated Champagne breakfasts and even managed a short walk in a window when there was hardly any rain and not too much wind either, unlike the weather before and after.
