Deception

During a visit to the desert in Tunisia a few years ago I bought a stone with beautiful purple crystals inside.   That evening  I realised that I had been deceived as the purple started to come off and it took ages to wash the dye off.  Despite that I still like the plain looking stone with each half opening to reveal these calcite crystals.
