Porty People and Places

Heading off for my morning run I coincided with Jude. 

Jude was working in partnership with  the new Community Bakery that has opened at the west end of Portobello. 

The last time I met Jude he was using his big yellow tricycle* to sell delicious  Italian ice creams on The Promenade.  If you look here You will see Jude in summer mode.

People like Jude make Porty the very special place that it is. In the winter he pedals around with freshly baked bread from this new community  bakery and when the sun comes out again he will combine this with his ice cream vending work once more.

Blipper 24heuer was on the beach this morning and we exchanged optimistic words about Scotland v Italy at the 6 Nations match at Murrayfield this afternoon. The words, sadly, failed  to be prophetic!

* Blipper GuernseyJim and Mrs GG brought one of these amazing tricycles back with them from an adventure in south America and it was a star turn in Gloucestershire.
