Eisteddfod 2015
Sorry about this blip but the light in the pub where we did our mini Eisteddfod is not good.
The Eisteddfod celebrates St David's Day, the patron saint of Wales, on 1 March each year. In Wales participants speak or sing in Welsh, it gives all ages the chance to perform. We have some poetry and songs in Welsh but the rest is in English with a strong Welsh flavour.
So children in the afternoon and teenagers/adults in the evening. 25 acts in total!Lots of communal singing. One of our prospective MPs gave us an amazing rendition of Delilah...Tom Jones would have been amazed!
