Shopping day!

Had a surprisingly good day shopping today :).  We went over to Cheshire Oaks (Designer Outlet).  Saw some new things - pebble "stepping stones", glass seats (these are 1" slices of glass positioned one on top of the other) and some old things - cars everywhere (we went in the multi-story car park - no chance anywhere else).  We even had a visit from the AA.  All the driving and parking today was courtesy of youngest daughter who is getting all the practice she can - she passed her test a few years ago then went straight to London on teacher training and used public transport whilst she was there .  So now she is back home for a while we get chauffeured around as much as we want! Look at the crowds - it really was very busy today but everyone seemed quite happy - must have been something in the air. Then lunch - Pret-a-Manger - always fresh food everyday - that's their motto.   The great thing about Designer Outlet is you are never sure what you are going to find.  They have designer shops selling last year's and over produced products.  I bought a suit, youngest daughter - clothes and flattie shoes.  Better half got new shoes!  So all in all the day was a success.
