Going native

Iced coffee Vietnamese style and Chinese chess which is popular here. We had dubbed it 'violent' chess as there is a lot of slamming and shouting when we see people playing it. Having worked out how to play it we now realise that is the catapult piece which jumps over and lands on an opponents piece to take it. Actually quite fun once we got to grips with the rules.
