What are they up to this time!

Went to a Race Night at my son's Scout group this evening. It was a different format to previous ones and instead of watching a DVD of horse races you bet on a colour/soft toy. There was a track on the floor and two large dice, one a colour and the other a number and that was how the winner was decided!

For the last race you could bid to 'own one of the runners' and as you can see we ended up with the yellow bear. Unfortunately we were beaten by the blue donkey.

Despite poor attendance from other parents it was an enjoyable evening and a reasonable amount was raised.
