Game of Swans
Another lazy, sunny day; will this summer never end? HaHa, it's only been about a week and I'm already expecting it to end soon. Hopefully it will last over the weekend as we're off to our chalet by the sea for a quick visit before the next lot of visitors move in.
To celebrate the sunshine we went to Cox's Yard for coffee this morning. Situated right by the river in the centre of Stratford, it's a great place to drink and watch the world go by, mainly on the Avon.
Aways a photo opportunity, I took quite a few of the wildlife (mainly swans, ducks, strange men wandering around under the bridge) the swans are so used to having their photos taken they pose for the tourists. So today's offering is a game of swans and a gaggle of geese (can two count as a gaggle?), waiting expectedly under the footbridge for someone to throw them some scraps.
An early blip today as we're going out for dinner tonight at a neighbour's house along with two or three others from the road. We each prepare one course; ours will be the starter - stuffed red peppers.
