Stairway to The Stars

Nordrach on Dee Sanatorium  opened Christmas Eve 1890 is now abandoned and has been replaced by a modern convalescent hospital. As a lover of abandoned buildings this was a must see. Security fencing prohibited ideal shots .Hence this partial picture of what I consider to be an impressive spiral staircase . Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for me it looked like a stairway to the stars. I get a buzz from seeings such places and wonder what stories could be told if walls could talk..
