The War On Drugs

Off through to Edinburgh with a bunch of mates to see The War On Drugs at the Usher Hall.


Started of badly by agreeing to meet in a pub... on a Six Nations day... we eventually found Jamesy, got a pint and wandered up against the wind to the Usher Hall,. Caught the end of the support who weren't that good, though not helped by crap sound. TWOD came in to Under Pressure and that at pretty much set the standard for a great gig; mostly stuff of Lost In the Dream and Slave Ambient though the great Baby Missiles from Future Weather was played. In the end they seemed to have a problem getting Granduciel off the stage and they ended up there until just before 11. Great night and a very blowy wander back to Haymarket for the train home.
