Dragster Racing....

....at Perth Motorplex this evening.

Definitely a spectacle in terms of the speed and skill (or madness) of the drivers but the indescribable noise of it all was utterly excruciating despite the use of ear plugs and ear defenders.

Regrettably I was not able to get a shot of the top fuel dragsters (the ones with a rocket engine with fire coming out of the back) as I was too busy trying to keep my head in its normal position and could not hold the camera at the same time. So here is a shot of top comp cars.

Give me F1 anytime.

Verdict: Glad we went but won't be rushing back to see another one any time soon!!
