An old Limburgian farmhouse.

Until 1825 this was a coaching inn on the old Roman road between Aachen and Maastricht. I did a lot of Googling to find out the function of a post house.

Mail coaches came along, there was food, drinks  and horses could be changed. During the Napoleon era. I´m allergic to horses, but wouldn't it be nice....☺
