Out of the two dogs, Poppy is definitely the one missing Tom the most. She keeps lying down on the floor of his study. All the labs we have had have been very attached to Tom, in spite of the fact that I feed them, walk them and generally keep them in order. Bud doesn't seem at all concerned, he follows me about as he always does. Cockers do seem to be faithful to one person whereas labs are more family dogs.

I'm glad to say Tom seemed much more his normal self today.
