Old and New at Delft

Had to see the new railway station in Delft that opened this weekend. 
the construction of the tunnel and new hall all went according to plan,  timing and budget; just the realisation of new appartments and shops on top of the tunnel fell apart due to the economic crisis and thus Delft suffers a loss of scheduled income... therefore taxes are raised and cuts in many costs and social expenses are limited to a larger extend than welcome... oh balancing those bills!

From the new hall there is this view on the old railway station of the 19th C what is kept and will become a restaurant or so.
