The last photo of the day looking down onto South Bay and the best weather. The morning was wet and cold, the afternoon brighter but still chilly. I’ve been to Scarborough twice before but have camped to the north of the town and gone off by car or foot from there, never exploring the centre or South Bay areas. 

Lots of walking today starting around the shopping area, then along the prom, around the harbour and up to the castle. More than a hundred photos (selected ones on flickr) taken.  Much needed coffees and teas were available en route to warm me up. All finished with lovely meal in the evening at an Italian restaurant by the harbour …… thought I deserved a glass of wine too :)
