First Light

Two minutes in the garden before work.  The sun was only just up, the first rays catching this Fritillaria raddeana, taller than most of my bulbs, crocus and snowdrops below were still in the shade.

Raised from seed about a decade ago I still have just one bulb ..... a precarious existence.
